A public memorial in celebration of the life of Chairman Abe Pollin. Remembering Abe will pay tribute to the sportsman, the buisinessman, the philanthropist, and the family fan in the House that Abe Built - Verizon Center.
Tickets are not required for this free, and public event.
Speakers to include: NBA Commissioner David Stern, NBA Hall of Famers Wes Unseld and Earl Monroe, Wizards captain Antawn Jamison, Capitals legend Yvon Labre, Robert Pollin, Washington DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, DC Council Member Jack Evans, Chairman of the DC City Council Vincent Gray, among others whose lives were touched by Mr. Abe Pollin
