Collaborations and Washington Sports & Entertainment Create
Collaborations by SiloSmashers at Verizon Center
Collaborations, a new company by Fairfax-based consulting firm,
SiloSmashers, announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership
with Washington Sports & Entertainment, a Washington, D.C. holding
company owning a majority stake in the Washington Wizards and Verizon
Center, to create Collaborations by SiloSmashers at Verizon Center
in Washington, D.C.
Collaborations by SiloSmashers is an exclusive, members-only business
club that offers an environment for business networking, access
to sports and entertainment, and fine dining. The club will be located
on the third floor Lexus Suite Level of Verizon Center. Angela Drummond,
CEO of Collaborations says “We are very excited about this
new venture with Washington Sports & Entertainment. The Washington,
DC metro area needs an exclusive club for executives and we are
pleased to be offering this environment within Verizon Center.”

Collaborations by SiloSmashers will be the first of various clubs
created and managed by Collaborations across the country. Bruce

Collaborations by SiloSmashers will be a membership-based club
whose members will have access to the club during any event at Verizon
Center. Club memberships will include premium concierge services,
state-of-the-art technology, premium parking, private elevator access,
courtside seats, and access to the club for corporate meetings during
the day. Memberships will be by invitation only. Collaborations
by SiloSmashers is scheduled to open at Verizon Center for the 2007-2008
NBA fall season.
Verizon Center, managed by Washington Sports & Entertainment,
LP, is home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the WNBA’s
Washington Mystics, the NHL’s Washington Capitals, and the
Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball teams. Located in the heart
of Chinatown above the Gallery-Place Chinatown Metro stop, Verizon
Center is only a few steps away from the White House and hosts more
than 220 events and concerts each year.
