the arena through the main entrance on F Street NW.
Where can you park if driving to an event at Verizon Center?
Verizon Center has its own parking garage located on 6th Street
NW underneath the building and is only open for concerts at a charge

is 6'8".
In instances where the Verizon Center garage is closed to the general
public for events, there are several public parking garages near
the building that would be viable options: Gallery Place parking
garage on 6th Street NW; the public garage next door to Rosa Mexicano
restaurant on F Street NW; and the public garage located near 7th
and I Streets NW. There are more than 13,000 parking spaces located
within several blocks of the arena.

of operation?
The main box office and will call windows are located at F Street
NW. The box office is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m. and closed on non-event Sundays. On the day of an event,
the box office will stay open until about 1 1/2 hours after the
show starts. Will Call opens 1 1/2 hours before the show starts
or you can pick up your tickets during regular box office hours.

There are two entrances to the building: the main entrance on F
Street NW and the second entrance at 7th and G Streets NW, by the
Gallery Place movie theatres.
Where do they set up the stage for concerts?
Most concerts are set up in an end stage format in which case the
stage is located on the West end of the building, where the Acela
Club restaurant is located. If the concert is in the round or center
stage, then the stage will be in the middle of the floor. The seating
charts provided on the website provide a general idea of the different
seating arrangements for an end stage and center stage event.
Where is seat No. 1 located in each row/section of the arena?
How many seats are in a row and how many rows are in each section?
If you are seated in the section and looking at the floor, seat
No. 1 will be to the left hand side of that row. The same is true
of sections on the floor – if you are seated in the section
and facing the stage, seat No. 1 is to the left hand side. (i.e.
Seat No. 1 in section 200 is closest to section 229, and seat No.
1 in section 110 is closest to section 109.) The number of seats
in each row and the number of rows in each section varies according
to the capacity of the event. Most sections have rows of 20-24 seats.
For Wizards games, where are the box seats located?
The box seats for the Wizards games are located behind the baskets.
If you have a ticket in Box E, you’re behind the basket on
the East end of the building. If you have a ticket in Box W, you’re

and are not available to the general public.
It's my anniversary and/or my birthday and I'd like to have
an announcement made at a concert or put up on the scoreboard during
a hockey or basketball game?
For concerts, special announcements are not possible as the PA system

that are used during a show are also brought in by the individual
tours and are pre-programmed for content pertaining to the show.
Verizon Center's scoreboard is generally not used during concerts.

is required and at least 48 hours notice must be given. Contact
