How Sweet the Sound Church Choir Competition Returns to Verizon Center

Saturday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Choirs from all across America, in each of our 14 markets, have answered the call for the chance to take the stage and claim the 2010 Best Church Choir in America title! This extraordinary gospel music celebration is full of inspirational choirs that leave audiences uplifted and empowered. Every choir who participates at the regional events wins $3,000 and an experience of a lifetime.

Tickets for How Sweet The Sound regional events are on sale now.

Scheduled to appear: Donald Lawrence, Marvin Sapp, CeCe Winans, Richard Smallwood and Maurette Brown.

The top choirs from each city will perform in the regional competitions, which will take place at the following venues this fall:

Cleveland, OH (Sept. 24, Quicken Loans Arena)
Detroit, MI (September 25, Joe Louis Arena)
Chicago, IL (September 27, United Center)
Charlotte, NC (September 30, Time Warner Cable Arena)
Atlanta, GA (October 2, Philips Arena)
St. Louis, MO (October 5, Scottrade Center)
Oakland, CA (October 9, Oracle Arena)
Los Angeles, CA (October 11, STAPLES Center)
