INTERNSHIP INFORMATION
Are you interested in an opportunity to work in the world of entertainment and
professional sports? Want to help coordinate community relations projects?
Those are just some of the opportunities that Washington Sports &
Entertainment interns experience.
Each year Washington Sports & Entertainment looks for enthusiastic
and professional college students to join their team. Internships
are available in several departments for the Washington Wizards
and Verizon Center:
Washington Wizards Departments - Public Relations, Marketing
& Game Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Community Relations,
Sponsorship
Verizon Center: Event Marketing/Public Relations/Booking
Department
While each department has different qualifications, all interns
are expected to work 15-25 hours per week. Internships are non-paid
and students must receive credit for the internship. Internships
run similar to the college fall, spring and summer schedules.
