Maxwell and Jill Scott, Grammy award-winning artists, are kicking off a 20 city tour in May, which includes a Friday, June 18 show at Verizon Center at 7:00 p.m. The Tour will feature hits from Maxwell's platinum selling release, BLACKsummers Night, as well as the 10 year span of Jill Scott's singing career. Also on the agenda are songs from Scott's upcoming release, The Light of the Sun, coming out in the summer of 2010. Tickets for the June 18th show go on sale March 12 at 10:00 a.m.

TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for Maxwell and Jill Scott are $188.00, $128.00, $98.00, $78.00 and $33.00 (plus applicable service charges) and go on sale Friday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. A ticket lottery will be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at the Verizon Center box office only, which allows each patron an equal opportunity at buying the best seats available during the public on sale. There is an eight ticket limit.
