SCREAMFEST '07 LIVE AT VERIZON CENTER

Tickets Go On Sale Friday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m.

Screamfest ‘07, is the sixth installment in the critically acclaimed Scream Tour concert series. This year the tour features two-time Grammy winner T.I. and the series’ first female headliner, Grammy winner and multi-platinum selling artist, Ciara. The tour is set to stop at Verizon Center on Saturday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale July 13 at 10:00 a.m.

“This is my second time being a part of the Scream tour and I must say that it feels bigger and better this year,” said Ciara. “I am very excited about the lineup. It’s the hottest names in music and I can guarantee that fans will be excited as well. Expect a lot of energy on this tour and expect to hear hit after hit after hit!”

T.I. will be supporting his recent release T.I. vs. T.I.P, including the songs “Big Things Poppin’” and “You Know What It Is” featuring Wyclef Jean.

“This year I plan on setting the bar extremely high,” said T.I. “Nothing like what you’re used to. The tour is evolving and becoming more mature. We are going to go hard. I guarantee it will be the tour of the summer and you can bet the house on that.”

Supported by BET, the tour will also feature Yung Joc, T-Pain and R&B heartthrob Lloyd.

In the past, the Scream Tour featured headliners Ne-Yo, Bow Wow, Chris Brown and Omarion.

Tickets for Screamfest ‘07 are $65.00 and $55.00 (plus applicable service charges) and go on sale Friday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. There will be an eight ticket limit. Tickets will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets including the Verizon Center box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com and via Phone charge at 703-573-SEAT, 202-397-SEAT and 410-547-SEAT. Numbers will be distributed at the Verizon Center box office located at the corner of 7th and G Streets NW to determine patrons order in line for the on sale at 10:00a.m. Accessible seating is available for patrons with disabilities by calling 202-661-5065.
