WHO: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
WHAT: Working on a Dream Tour
WHEN: Monday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m.
*Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for the general public. Floor seating
for this show is general admission (meaning no seats).
TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for Bruce Springsteen and the
E Street Band are sold out.
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET HOLDERS LINE POLICY:
All wristbands will be issued and distributed for General Adminssion
(GA) ticket holders ONLY at the 6th Street NW entrance, closest
to F Street, at Verizon Center. The 6th Street entrance is also
the entrance for all General Admission ticket holders.
The Bruce Springsteen General Admission (GA) floor is divided into
two areas: the Front "pit" area and the remainder of the
GA floor. There is a lottery procedure in effect to determine
a GA ticketholder's place in line. After the lottery, a line
will be formed. Those near the front of the line have a better chance
of entering the Front GA area. However, if you have a GA ticket,
it is not necessary to participate in the lottery as your GA ticket
guarantees you a spot on the arena floor.
- On show day, sequentially numbered wristbands will be distributed
beginning at 2:00pm, and will continue until 5:00pm,
at the entrance doors on 6th Street, closest to the corner of 6th
and F Streets NW at Verizon Center. Wristband distribution will
end promptly at 5:00pm.
- After the patron's ticket has been verified as a GA ticket, a
wristband will be issued and affixed to the patron's wrist. Patrons
must be in possession of their GA tickets, in addition to their
wristbands at all times in order to gain access to the GA areas.
- Each patron must be in possession of their GA ticket in order
to receive a wristband. Only one wristband will be given to each
patron.
- Anyone who receives a numbered wristband has a chance to be the
first in line to enter the Front GA area, but a wristband does not
guarantee a place in the Front GA area.
- Wristbanded patrons may leave, but must return by 5:00pm in
order to claim their place in line.
- A starting number for the GA line will be randomly chosen
by a patron at 5:15pm. This number will then be announced and
displayed at the GA entrance. The patron with the wristband number
that matches the starting number will be the first in line. (For
example, if #'s 1-100 were issued, and number 20 was drawn, then
the line would start with 20, then 21, 22 through 100, and then
1 through 19.) All other patrons with GA tickets and wristbands
will line up in order after the patron with the starting number
that was drawn.
- As proof of access, a second wristband will be secured to Front
GA ticketholders.
- Those in the GA line will be admitted and directed to floor GA
areas approximately 10-15 minutes earlier than other ticket holders.
- The purpose of the random number distribution is to insure that
all GA patrons have the same chance of being first in line and eliminating
the need to stay in line all day. This policy also helps to insure
customer safety and provides for an effective means of crowd control.
