The Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion
Verizon Center is pleased to offer a special hospitality
area known as the Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion. The
Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion can be used to host between 34 and
99 clients and guests. This unique hospitality area can help firms
meet important business development, marketing and staff recognition/retention
needs. The Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion is also a great way to
entertain friends and family. Located on our exclusive Acela Club
Level, the Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion is available for single
event rental for most games, as well as selected shows and other
events.
The Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion can accommodate two groups
(a group of 34 and a group of 65), or one larger group of 99 guests.
The larger group, (either 65 or 99 guests), will also have
exclusive access to a private, glass-enclosed hospitality room.
All groups using the Johnnie Walker Party Pavilion will have a separate
open area for food and beverages, plus guaranteed individual Club
Seats for all guests. Guests will also enjoy access to the wonderful
food and beverages provided by Levy
Restaurants, the exclusive catering service for the suites.
Verizon Center is located in downtown Washington, D.C. and is home
to the NBA's Washington Wizards, the NHL's Washington Capitals,
the WNBA's Washington Mystics and the Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball
team. Over 220 world-class sporting events, concerts, and family
shows take place every year ranging from U2 to Taylor Swift to the
Harlem Globetrotters to Disney on Ice. The arena has also hosted
world-class tournaments including the 2003 World Figure Skating
Championships, the 2005 ACC Tournament and the 2006 Washington Regional
of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. In 2011 the
arena will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division
I Men's Basketball tournament for the fourth time.
